Abu Mazen: Die Last freier Medien

Abu Mazen, als „Palästinenserpräsident“ schon lange nicht mehr legitimiert, dafür aber weiterhin Anführer der Terroristenbande Fatah, zeigt, daß er seinen Freunden im Westen völlig berechtigt als Verhandlungspartner gilt, mit dem man sich auch gern ablichten läßt:

„The Palestinian Authority government said Wednesday it is suspending the West Bank operations of the Arab news station Al-Jazeera, alleging incitement and unbalanced reporting from the territories.

A Palestinian official said the decision was taken by PA President Mahmoud Abbas who was outraged by an Al-Jazeera talk show, broadcast Tuesday, that dealt with harsh accusations against Abbas by an old rival in his Fatah movement. The rival, Farouk Kaddoumi, claimed – without presenting evidence – that Abbas had a role in the 2004 death of his predecessor, Yasser Arafat.“
